Ingredients:

10 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs

3 tbsp tomato paste

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tsp salt

1 tsp black pepper

1 tsp turmeric

1 tbsp onion powder

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp cumin
-
1/2 tsp to 1 tsp cayenne pepper (depending on how spicy you like it)

1 tbsp paprika

1 tbsp sugar

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp vinegar
Instructions:

In a large bowl, whisk together everything (but the chicken…).

Add the chicken thighs , making sure they are coated well, massage them with some love.

Optional – Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to overnight.

Preheat your smoker to 225°F.

Place the chicken thighs on the smoker grates, skin side up.
-
Smoke the chicken thighs for 2 to 2.5 hours.

Remove the chicken thighs from the smoker and let them rest for 10 minutes before serving.
